SAC Supports Little Kids with Big Dreams
Each year, the Surat Aboriginal Corporation (SAC) holds a National Pyjama Day fundraising event to be a champion for children in foster care and make a real difference.

Although officially on 19 July 2019, National Pyjama Day can be celebrated, and an event hosted by organisations anytime throughout July and August.
SAC Manager, Jessica Walsh said it’s always a fun day with games and yummy food, and one that they mark in their calendar every year.
“National Pyjama Day is all about wearing your favourite pair of PJ’s to help The Pyjama Foundation raise much-needed awareness and funds for children in foster care,” she said.
“We were able to raise over a $100 and forward this money to The Pyjama Foundation, which we know will help children in foster care get the emotional and educational support they need to achieve their dreams and reach their full potential.”
Through participating, money raised helps offer learning skills to more than 1000 children, fund educational resources and help provide stable positive relationships.
